is a parachute attached to some moving transportation
vehicle, such as a four-wheel drive auto or a motorboat. The parachute goes
up into the air when the vehicle begins moving, and the

it takes three or four quick steps before becoming airborne. The
sheer joy of soaring in the sky hundreds of feet above, and
the lack of much training involved, has made this sport immensely popular.
